My Dinner with Andrew dining table
A dining table named for the man who planted the tree it was made from. Designed by John Lore and crafted by Stefane Dimopolous, the table is made from the largest single slab of the oneTree walnut, carefully mitre-bent into legs with satin brass feet in a fusion of West Coast and Mid-Century Modern style.
Pictured here paired with chairs to create the complete dining suite.
The dining table legs are a continuation of the dining top, curving down to create sumptuous lines that end in satin brass feet.
John Lore co-founded Live Edge Design and has been designing and building West Coast Natural furniture from salvaged trees since 1994. John created the oneTree exhibit idea, partnering with the Robert Bateman Center. Live Edge salvaged and milled all the walnut wood for the artisans’ pieces for oneTree 2017.
